Issa is the Senior Partner and head of the conveyancing and commercial practice at Khalid Issa & Associates. He is experienced in advising on mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings and private debt issuance, as well as in intellectual property advisory work; he also advises on film and media matters. Issa also advises on Shariah family matters including estate planning. He has a wide array of experience advising domestic, regional and international clients on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity investments and capital markets transactions. He has in the past advised the setup of the Dry Associates Unit Trust Scheme and converting the company into an investment bank under the Capital Markets of Kenya regulations. Issa is a qualified financial adviser and sits on several boards in financial institutions around the African continent.
